When I moved into the new house last fall, I left my composter (and all the deliciously rich compost and wonderfully wiggly worms) behind. Yesterday, I picked up a new Earth Machine composter from MetroPaint and we just finishing assembling it, adding a bunch of leaves, some starter dirt, and a big jarful of kitchen scraps!
Composting reduces kitchen waste and is an inexpensive way to provide nutrients to your garden. Next on the to-do list: build raised beds for a veggie garden and build a chicken coop!
